I am a 27-year-old husband and father doing everything I can to make some major healthy changes in my life right now. I have a goal to LOSE 120 POUNDS BY JANUARY 1, 2010. This blog is one of many elements I’m using to reach that goal and many others I plan on setting in the interim.

On the more personal side, I love Classic Rock, Mediterranean food, amateur photography, movies, reading, and of course spending time with my family and friends. I have degrees in journalism and management and I am working full-time on a Ph.D. and trying my best to find my creative outlets while exploring a sometimes boring academic area (that I still love, nevertheless).

Exercise and activity-wise, I like walking/jogging running, riding my stationary bike, hiking and playing basketball with friends. I hope to expand this list vastly.
