For those of you who haven’t discovered, I am giving them an additional shout out here. I first heard of the 100 push up challenge from the guys at Get Fit Slowly and decided I would give it a try.

It has probably been well over ten years (as in I was a junior in high school) since I’ve regularly done any push ups, so I didn’t expect much. I did the test and managed to eke out eight of them, which placed me in the second column. I did the suggested five levels, and man did my arms burn! It felt good though, despite my gelatinous arms this morning (my wife had to help get me out of bed…pathetic, I know).

I am committed to doing it though and am looking forward to day two tomorrow!

Tack on a new goal: Do 100 consecutive push ups by July 28, 2008.
